Meet the Kimble’s

The first in a new series for us to introduce you to the members of our team. Together, our team members make up the best dog rescue in Austin!

Today, meet Debra and Terry Kimble. The Kimble’s have been rescuing dogs in all across Texas for more than 20 years.

We asked Debra to tell us the story of how she became a part of our Austin dog rescue family.

“A few years ago we had the privilege of being introduced to Whitney with AjK Family Rescue while searching for a rescue that could take a family of pups from a hoarding situation in our small local rural town. That meeting changed all our lives. From that day on we came together and our mission became the same, to rescue as many pups as we could from the Dallas/Fort Worth area all the way down south to the Rio Grand Valley by helping and partnering up with high kill shelters, different rescues and independent rescuers.”

Debra is a board member of the rescue, and foster pups, especially those on medical hold, those with special needs including pregnant mamas, and those with litters. Together Debra and Terry not only foster but also help transport our rescued animals to fosters and other rescues in and around Texas. They love spending time with each other, and what better way than to spend it rescuing animals in need.
